Roki Wins UN Climate Action Award

Roki Ltd, a leading supplier of veterinary inputs, and one of the ALCP2 programme’s key partners in climate adaptation programming for livestock farmers has won the Global Compact Network Climate Action Award for a small and medium sized Georgian business at the UN’s Global Compact Network’s Corporate Sustainability Award Ceremony 2025.  TBC bank won the climate action award for a large business.

The UN Global Compact is an initiative of the UN Secretary-General and the world’s largest corporate sustainability network, uniting over 25,000 companies globally. The competition evaluates applications for large businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises. It evaluated businesses in six sections aligned to six Sustainable Development Goals Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Responsible Consumption and Production, Climate Action and Partnerships for Sustainable Development. A total of one hundred and sixty-six companies applied in Georgia in the first round, one hundred and twelve advanced to the second stage, and twelve companies, six large and six small and medium won awards.

An independent jury composed of Georgian and international experts evaluated all submissions, selecting this year’s winners based on their impact and innovation. Roki Ltd won for their outreach, innovation and the impact that their trainings, awareness raising and climate smart products were having on livestock farmers.  

The Corporate Sustainability Award Ceremony was held with the support of Sweden.

Roki Ltd. is facilitated by the Mercy Corps Georgia Alliances Caucasus 2 (ALCP2) programme, co-funded by the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC), the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and Sweden.
